2. Description of the Service

Curate AI provides an educational software platform that enables self-directed learners, students, and professionals to:

• Generate structured, chronological syllabi from complex topics across coding, system design, agriculture, and science.
• Watch vetted educational video lectures inside a clean-room, distraction-free player without algorithm feeds or recommended sidebars.
• Test comprehension through interactive quizzes, autonomous AI concept whiteboards, and Capstone Project deliverable checklists.
• Organize weekly study sessions, export schedules to Google Calendar and universal iCalendar (.ics) formats, and receive transactional email reminders.

3. User Accounts & Google Authentication

To access personalized learning features, you must create an account. You may register using your email address or authenticate via Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0).

4. Acceptable Use Policy

When using Curate AI, you agree that you will not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the platform or proprietary AI generation logic.
• Use automated scrapers, bots, or crawlers to overload, harvest, or disrupt the Service or third-party APIs.
• Circumvent or tamper with security controls, rate limiters, or authentication mechanisms.
• Submit malicious code, viruses, or harmful payloads through custom prompts, notes, or feedback forms.

The Curate AI platform, user interface designs, logos, software architecture, and curated curriculum structures are the proprietary intellectual property of Curate AI. All rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved.

You retain all ownership rights to personal notes, original challenge solutions, and code you write while completing study tasks on the platform.

7. Disclaimers & Educational Notice

Curate AI is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Curate AI is an educational study aid designed to facilitate independent learning and comprehension. While our AI curation engines strive to structure high-quality curricula and vetted educational lectures, we do not guarantee academic accreditation, university course credit, or specific examination results.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Curate AI and its operators, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Account Termination & Deletion

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@curateai.site. Upon confirmation, your account and associated learner data will be permanently purged in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or threaten platform security.

10. Governing Law & Modifications

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya and applicable international consumer standards, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If a revision meaningfully affects your rights, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this document or sending an email notification.
